Hello! I’m Mr Li, the founder of Mr Li-near Maths Tutoring. I graduated from the University of Warwick with a degree in Mathematics, and I’m passionate about helping students excel in their maths studies.

My journey with mathematics began in a unique way. When I arrived in the UK in Year 9, I didn't speak English and was put in bottom sets for all my subjects, but through hard work and determination, I managed to achieve A* grades in almost all of my subjects at the end of  Year 11 when I finished my GCSE, including English, Maths, and Further Maths. I continued this success through my A-Levels, where I secured A* grades in both Maths and Further Maths.

In addition to my academic qualifications, I am a qualified secondary school maths teacher holding a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a certificate in teaching Further Maths from Integral Maths. My dedication to teaching is reflected in the success of my students.

In last year's STEP group, my tutoring contributed to remarkable achievements:

• One student secured a place at Imperial College London.

• Another gained admission to Cambridge University.

• A third student was accepted to study at the University of Warwick.

• One student earned a full scholarship to the Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST), becoming one of only three students from the US, UK, and Canada to gain entry to this prestigious institution with a full scholarship.
